A Very Long Day Brightened with VERY Good Friends!

What a beautiful day it was today....so many stopped by with whom our lives have intertwined...At about 4pm when the store was nearly silent, in came Sophia DeHoff, a darling waif of Scandinavian blond, a up close to hug me. I looked over and there was her dad, Rob, brother, Tobby and Rob's brother, Mike, and his friend, Meg....Anne, Rob's wife and mother of those darlings, came in late, one of the warmest people I barely know, but she always makes me smile. It was Rob's 40th and his family celebrated him at the Gardens. It seemed only yesterday when we catered their wedding. Where was all that Time spent? So after there celebratory meal, I followed them out to shoot their beautiful and practical modes of transport! Rob is the owner of Varsity Bikes & Transit and was riding his latest suggestion for cheap and environmentally sound transport, the Bucket Bike....did I get that right??? Look him up on his website and ask him whatever I neglected to say....varsitybike.com. Na ta ekatostiseis, Rob!

We celebrated many birthdays today, there was George, Mary, and Marissa as well! I ran out of candles. Na ta ekatosteisete! (May you all live to be a hundred).

Oh, the shadow picture, me in my apron waiting for them to pose....
