It seems like all summer since we have been visited by Westcott, our youngest but perhaps are most ardent supporter of the Gardens. Together with his brother, Calder and father John, the boys enjoyed some of their favorite items as well a new order for them at the Gardens, the Ambelodolmades with Avgolemono (vegetarian stuffed grape leaves with lemon sauce). Seems like dad is trying to move their palates along and had introduced them to this item elsewhere and wanted to keep the experience alive in their mouths. Confidentially in the kitchen, I asked West what he thought about the Dolmades....and HE LIKED THEM! So, what were we doing in the kitchen? Making their favorite special "chocolate squeeze ice cream sundae with cherry sauce". You KNEW there was a reason why we are their favorite place to eat. And on our side, we were offered from no less than three different parties to take "those darling children home"...articulate, patient, developed palates, yes...we support the well-raising of children!
