The grands, Carmen & Dede, of long-time customers and Anna's Greek Tours, Sandy & Jay, visited last Friday. They charmed us all and nibbled on pita crisps and spritzers and left happily babbling.

Our Fifth annual sponsorships of a Greek film in the International Film Festival! By the director of the Oscar nominated "Dogtooth," Yorgos Lanthimos' offbeat film focuses on a club whose members are paid to take the place of a family's dead relative. Ever wondered about the art at the Gardens? That wooden peacock on the wall, the stone-age bead track that's used as a hat rack, that fountain, and, of course, that tree root thing? Zoran Mojsilov, our resident artist with an international reputation will be our Guest Presenter at our next Symposia. A Series, XI on Wed, Oct 26 @ 6pm. An unabashed regaler of stories and intentions, Zoran will show us some of his latest and furthest away installed works.

An original menu item 20 years ago, Fasolaki Arni has returned as the Seasonal Substitute for Orzo Arni. Lightened by green beans and basil, this perennial favorite replaces the carb loaded pasta and lamb. Enjoy it with the new Lafkiotis Nemea wine. Zito!

Greek Yogurt for our Yogurt Honey Sundae! We found it! A blend of cow and goat's milk make it tangy, yet mellow; strained makes it thick enough to stand up on the plate! Ames Honey and toasted almonds with filberts top this dessert that was listed on our first menu 20 years ago!
